Thai massage is a branch of Traditional Thai Medicine, treating individuals by addressing the physical and energetic body. It has similarities to deep tissue massage and assisted yoga stretching. The massage has a full body sequence of slow, rhythmic compressions, therapeutic pressure points and gentle stretches. The intent of the massage is to free blockages and stagnation in the energy lines (Sen Sib lines) affecting the underlying life force (Prana) in the body. Since the Sen Sib are the main energy lines in the body, they need regular maintenance to avoid any blockages or stagnation. The enhanced energy flow in the body can lessen or alleviate many conditions. This professional service is provided by a Registered Massage Therapist.
