Anna Steen is a graduate of the Alberta College of Massage Therapy (2017) and a graduate of the Manual Osteopathic College of Canada (2019) as well as a member in good standing with the Candian Massage and Manual Osteopathic therapists association. She has worked as an instructor and Teaching Assistant for the Massage program since graduation and currently works as a Teaching Assistant at the Manual Osteopathic College of Canada. Anna has always been passionate about living a well balanced lifestyle and after learning about the Osteopathic principles, truly belives that our bodies are capable of self healing and self regulating to restore balance so we can feel our best in our everyday lives. As a Manual Osteopathic therapist, Anna works with many different assessments to determine which treatments will be best for you, and can help to restore balance in the digestive system, circulatory system, urogenital, and more as well as correcting structural dysfunctions in the pelvis, spine and other joints. Anna uses grade 4 Osteoarticulations to restore bone structure, Cranial Osteopathy, Visceral Manipulation and Advanced Myo-fascial remodelling techniques to restore arterial flow and balance your body. As a Massage therapist, Anna is trained in Swedish relaxation, as well as Clinical Orthopedic Massage, with additional training in Dynamic cupping, Advanced Biomechanical Craniosacral therapy and Visceral (organ) Manipulation. Anna can help you feel your best by integrating treatment based massage with swedish relaxation techniques to help release trigger points and work with the parasympathetic nervous system. When Anna is not working, she enjoys Running, Paddle boarding, travelling and spending time in nature or curled up with a good book.
