ELEANORE FOURNIER
ELEANORE FOURNIER

I believe that human beings benefit tremendously from positive touch, it can remind us of the present moment and enhance physical, emotional, mental and/or spiritual well being. Touch not only brings about feelings of peace, but it gives off heat, which improves circulation and begins the process of healing. Massage induces the parasympathetic nervous system, allowing our bodies and minds to “rest and digest” – alleviating stress and tension. Through the manual manipulation of soft tissues, I use a variety of different techniques to help break down adhesions, promote oxygen rich blood flow to knotted areas, realign muscle fibres and relieve pain.

I graduated Mount Royal University’s 2200 hour massage therapy program and have over 6 years of working experience. While aiding in the relief of aches and pains, I strive to provide individualized treatments, stretching/strengthening exercises, and a comfortable space for clients to relax. I am very passionate about helping people and feel grateful to offer relaxation, therapeutic, sports therapy, deep tissue, prenatal/postnatal, and aromatherapy massages. I have experience in working with sciatica, migraines, depression/anxiety, chronic pain, MVA accidents, musculoskeletal injuries, seniors, children, and athletes.

I began my career in healthcare in 2011 as a holistic nutritionist. I enjoy encouraging others to reach their full potential of health and balance, which led me to pursue massage therapy, graduating from MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy with 2200 hours. I treat each client with a specialized individual treatment suited to their needs, and will empower them on their own self-healing journey.

My expertise lies in deep tissue, myofascial work, pre-natal, and am certified in Myofascial Cupping. I am currently working towards obtaining my Advanced Orthopedic Massage Certificate to help my clients more fully!

In my free time I like to maintain an active, balanced lifestyle with hiking, snowboarding, yoga and cycling.

Vicky graduated from the Mount Royal University diploma program with 2200 hours in June of 2018. She has quickly found her touch in the massage world, meanwhile continuously still learning and adapting. She is passionate about helping and healing others through massage therapy. Massage was always an outlet for her to feel better, whether it was pain, tight muscles or just overall stress she was having. Vicky started massage therapy because she truly believes in the health benefits, as she has experienced it first hand.

Vicky specializes in deep tissue, therapeutic and relaxation massages. She utilizes trigger point therapy, dynamic cupping therapy, passive stretching, pin and stretch techniques and many more into her massages and will be incorporating acupressure and hot stone massages in the near future! It is most rewarding for her when clients enjoy her massages and keep coming back. Her intention through massage therapy is sharing the way massages makes herself feel after receiving one, by giving back to others in the same way.
